    PAID LIFE INSURANCE
    Your life insurance is provided for you at no cost to you. ($25,000 death benefit)-NY Life Insurance

    LONG-TERM DISABILITY INCOME INSURANCE- NY Life (Eligible after 90 days of disability)

    • If you become disabled, a percentage of your income will be continued until you recover.

    BILINGUAL PAY INCENTIVE
    This incentive is offered to those employees who are bilingual and who pass a bilingual test. (Sign Language incentive is offered too.)

2. Tuition Benefits

HEAD START of Greater Dallas, Inc. provides financial assistance to employees who are pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to the mission of HEAD START of Greater Dallas, Inc. from an accredited college or university, including online degree programs. 

When appropriate funds are available, HEAD START will award a sum of money to employees enrolled in college courses at an accredited college or university. 

The sum is presently $500/semester (Fall and  Spring) only, The CDA classes and AA classes including books are paid in full.

3. Holiday/Vacation Schedule

  • SICK TIME/PERSONAL DAYS/VACATION
    • 8.00 sick-hrs/mth/ - 40.00 hrs-personal time
    • Annual Leave of 160.00 hours will be available from the second year of service.
    • First year annual leave and personal leave are prorated.
  • PAID HOLIDAYS

    Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday, Spring Break Week, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Week

  • WINTER BREAK -TWO WEEKS PAID
